Notary Services
In-Person Notarization
CNIS Immigration Services provides notary services for Alabama residents. To have a document notarized, the signer must appear in person and present a valid, unexpired form of identification.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- State-issued driver’s license
- State-issued identification card
- United States passport
- Foreign passport
In-person notarization services are available by appointment only. Fee:
$10 per notarized signature.
Online Notarization
Alabama law permits remote online notarization, allowing eligible individuals to have documents notarized without visiting our office.
Through online notarization, signers may meet with the notary through a secure video conference and complete the notarization process remotely.
To participate in an online notarization session, the signer should have:
- A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone
- A stable internet connection
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- The document requiring notarization
Online notarization services are available by appointment only. Fee: Starting at $40 per notarized signature.
